This Privacy Policy explains what information Sarva One ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and mobile app (together, the "Service"), how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name and email address, and optionally a username, mobile number and profile photo. If you set a password, we store it only in hashed form.
- Google Sign-In: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and Google account ID with us. We do not receive your Google password or access your Google contacts, Drive or other Google data.
- Listings and content: details you add to businesses, jobs, services, products, properties, rentals, classifieds, events, courses, tenders, news or blog posts, such as titles, descriptions, images, phone or WhatsApp numbers, email, website, address, city and pincode.
- Messages to us: anything you send when you contact us for support.
Information collected automatically
- Log and device information: IP address, browser or device type and the time of your requests. We use these to keep you signed in and to limit repeated login attempts.
- Sign-in tokens: when you sign in on the app, we store a secure token so that you stay signed in.
- Cookies: our website uses essential cookies for your login session and for security, plus analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
- Assistant searches: questions you type into the search box or assistant are used only to find matching listings and are not saved to your account.
We do not access your device's precise location, contacts, call logs, SMS or microphone. If you upload a profile photo or a listing image, we only access the file you choose.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and sign you in, including sending one-time passwords (OTPs) to your email.
- To publish and show the listings and content you submit, and to let administrators review them before they go live.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To keep the Service secure and to prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
- To understand how the Service is used so that we can improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for personalised advertising.
What is public
Listings and content you publish, including any contact details you put in them (phone, WhatsApp, email, address), are visible to everyone who uses the Service and may be indexed by search engines. Only add contact details that you are happy to share publicly.
How we share information
We share personal information only:
- With service providers who host our servers, deliver our emails and provide analytics, so that they can run the Service for us. They may use the information only for that purpose.
- With Google, when you choose Google Sign-In, to confirm your identity.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or a valid request from a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Data security
All data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). Passwords, OTPs and sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, and access to personal data is limited to authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.
Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are visited and what kind of device is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes your IP address. Deleting your account and data
You can ask us to delete your Sarva One account and its associated data at any time, from Profile → Delete account in the app or on the website, or by email. An administrator reviews each request, usually within 2 working days, and once it is approved your account, personal data and listings are permanently deleted. You can also ask us to delete specific data, such as your mobile number or a listing, without deleting your whole account.

Your rights and choices
You can view and update your profile at any time from your account. Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent you have given. Children
The Service is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Listings may link to other websites, apps or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you through the Service or by email.
